Some more on blogging - first of all I ran across another great post on that chrisg.com blog. His blog is centered around the business of blogging and on how to most effectively blog to meet your goals. In today's post he had a diagram which illustrated the point he was making which applies to us as well. The point being that in order to properly build your online brand, you need to know how all the activities you are doing work together. If it's being approached in a haphazard way you shouldn't be surprised if your not getting as many hits as you desire. Read the post.
By the way, I also have a short paper this guy wrote about creating what he calls 'killer flagship content' for your blog. If you'd like a copy send me a note and I'll send it to you.
Secondly on blogs, there's been some great work on some of the WorldSpace channel blogs - particularly Flava, Orbit Rock and UPop. They're headed in the right direction for they are creating unique, original content that is targeted and which speaks to their respective communities. Just as their radio stations are focused on creating great content for their community of people (their listeners) the web content is targeted and designed to reach these people (and hopefully TONS of others like them!). Obviously all the blogs are gotten to by the channel's frontpage - i'll make it easy for you and include the links below.
